What exactly does this phrase mean?
Nothing greater the authority than silence. It is the crowning virtue of the strong, the refuge of the weak, the modesty of the pride, the pride of the humble, the prudence of the wise, and the sense of fools. – Charles de Gaulle
This silence is a mystery beyond mind, beyond what the human brain can fully comprehend. Like a beautiful diamond, we can only see a little facets little. This mystery is seemingly far beyond us – our ability to understand, know. However, this figure within ourselves, and this contains us as well. This silence permeates everything and leave everything. Silence allows us to be and be free. A gentle, loving, inner peace and silence is here and now at this time. It has always been well. It's always there. Is right here within you and all around you, a stillness, an apparent void, a nothing apparent which everything arises, exists, and finally returns. This is the pure silence.
