garage door problem. one of the side wall sensors went from light green to orange / yellow.?

one of the sensors changed from bright green lite orange / yellow. anyone know why and how to fix it. this light the garage also triggered to turn on the light, but now does not light when the sensors activated. would this affect the use of remote control? also having problems with this. thank you very much for any help you can provide. you are great!
