Basic Equiptment tournament paintball?

My 2 friends and I are wanting to start a paintball team and participates in a tournament. Everyone just got weapons fire and I wonder what all we have to enter a tournament. Do we actually NEED shirts or could simply all have similar colored shirts and paintings and you know of a site or anything where you could get cheap t-shirt, $ 50sa not as pop as the other, the colors are Red and Black. I know I need masks and most tournaments have to buy your own paint boxes and how many balls are in a box. And how many of the pictures of paint are more likely is to go through in 1 Tourny, I could live with u? and then the pods and braces, do you really need them? Me and my friend has a Tippmann 98 custom and my other friend has a Spyder Victor. Are there improvements that we buy, very expensive, not like the other $ 70 barrels, hoppers but as different or as a Double Trigger? Thanks a ton!

If I were you, I would like to learn the game much more than what I know now. It seems that your new and you would be playing people who have been playing since they were as 8. Now for your questions: Jerseys are nice to have but not necessary in most tournys. Addition, they are $ 50 each. Think more in the range of $ 100-200. 2000 paintballs per case of paintballs. I get paint Blaze. Tourny painting large is only a $ 45. It is made by Draxxus like. It depends how much fire if a case is enough for you. Just get a case and you should be fine if not the effort of pulling the trigger 24 / 7. pods are nice to have, as you hand all the time. For Tippmann 98 stock (basic, no date), then you should not need updates more than a new barrel. Try a Stiffe, CP (Custom Products), or a Freak barrel. They are about $ 40 ish. Mabye you can get a new hopper as a eVLution III. Loaded on 23bps (balls per second) and only $ 50-60, which is very, very cheap. A double trigger is only really useful in electronic markers (guns), such as ions, etc … Hope this helped.
