The gun has an interesting history

The Paintball Marker of today has definitely come a long way since the introduction of the Splat Master years ago. The term itself "Gun" is relatively new. It tends to be more commercial, then the words "Paintball Gun" to parents have teenagers begging to get started in this sport.

The funny thing is certain, the first Paintball Markers to be used in cattle farms. In a large herd beef cows on all bare similar marks can be very hard to single one out of the pack. This is where the gun turned out to be a valuable tool. This was usually done to separate a sick animal from the herd. Once a cow had been checked, that was easily picked out the herd.

Ranch of livestock to fields of play, the sport of paintball was developed and continues to do so.

Splat Master was one of the markers available in the first place. Era a pistol made entirely out of plastic. It was powered by small cylinders of 12 grams of CO2 and could only hold ten balls of paint at a time. The rate of fire was also slow due to the fact that the first marker had to lean back for a paintball would fall into the firing chamber. Then had to be driven by pushing a single button on the back of the handle.

Although even in the game with this type of marker was fun, it was not long before that the players wanted something better, and they got it with creating brand paintball pump action. The score of the pump had a much faster rate fire and could be modified with upgrades to improve performance.

Another big change that came with the score of the pump was the introduction of metal parts it could be replaced. At higher plastic markers, if the parties carried out, a new marker was needed. Also updating the "constant air "occurred. Instead of using the 12gram CO2 cylinder, which was good for about 15 shots, the gun was equipped with a bracket holding a 12 oz co2 tank was good for about 200 shots.

Constant air was a breakthrough for the sport and certainly was a great touchstone for the next stage of evolution paintball marker, it was semi-automatic marker. In comparison with markers of the pump, these weapons had an incredible rate of fire. A player with a good trigger finger could Remove nine shots per second! With the power of fire and the invention of high power capacity hoppers took the stage. These hoppers were mounted on top of the guns and could accommodate up to 250 paintballs. It is also equipped with a small arm of rotation within the hopper that helped feed the paintballs to continue the much faster rate of fire.

The semi-automatic marker was a true pioneer for the sport events, but the question still hangs in the air there would ever be completely self?

That was the question was quick to respond with a paintball gun called The Angel, but what did the angel a real wonder is that it was computerized. It was equipped with a small plaque inside the pistol grip. This allowed the user to select various modes of fire, including full automatic.

Today markers followed the same road map that the Angel set, and we can only wait and see what the next generation paintball markers will bring.
