A question based on my need to help filter kit?

I recently bought a filter kit Teffin package for a new lens. My daughter is getting married and I needed something quick and cheap (wedding that will make you). The problem is they had a 52 Polarizer (Teffin) which around the house, from '72, And inadvertently screwed in the UV filter kit. Both are 52's. Now I can not get off the polarizer. Any suggestions? Should I go and get UV filter than the other? A kit? Help!

There is a filter wrench you can buy from (or by) the majority of providers of photographs gives better leverage to remove the filters. Also, try two small diameter, as wide as the filters, rubber bands and you should be able to unscrew them … unless that are cross-threaded. If that is the case you will be buying new ones.
