What safety equipment for the motorcycle?

Hi all, I've been doing a lot of research lately, but I'm still not sure which team is the best to buy for just everyday riding. I am thinking of buying a sv650f this summer, it's my first road bike but I've ridden bikes all my life earth so I think it should be fine. I intend to be adorned with art … helmet, jacket, pants, gloves, boots. I'm not looking to be more dangerous than it already is. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I am also thinking of taking the safety course.
