bifocals and progressive-power Rifle Scope?

I just ordered my first set of bifocals and I'm worried about my use with telescopic sights. I use high power and possibilities of benchrest shooting and has occasional problems aliginng the scope comfortably. I am considering a set of glasses type sot in distant rx only to be places more comfortable. I also think there may be some benefit when gunshot. I'd like the opinions and experience pass another shooter.

You got it: I use a pair of glass lenses and bifocal Photogray. Have you noticed that looking through the top of your shooting glasses to see through the scope? Her first pair of bifocals are not cause for alarm. I just use the areas but the distal part is the top of the lens anyway. And, of course, you can always change the ocular lens or eyepiece in the scope as well.
