What happens to the flowers of my plant agapanthus?

I have a few plants agapanthus, also known as Lily of the Nile A long tube stalk grew from a plant, and had a big round ball of small lavender flowers. The flowers dry up and fall, but remain firm green pods. Does plant flower again? Or is that the pods contain seeds that will fall, resulting in self-sowing or replanting? (Do not know what it's called). Should I cut the rest of the ball with flowers?

The other flower stalk begins to dry up and there will be no seeds left in the clusters. In fact, not to the seeds in the that will have a lot of new plants next year. You can, however, harvest the seeds of the group and sow the seeds yourself if you want. This is easy to do. Drying of the cluster, open a seed pod. When you see the pod is dry and the seed is formed and dried, cut the stem and seeds from the harvest. Store in a cool, dry place for a week or two to allow the seeds to dry completely. After this time, put them in a paper bag in a cool, dry sowing in the first part of spring. If you are not interested in saving the seeds, cut the stem out as far down as possible when all the flowers are gone. Lurking no longer flourish. These plants generally have a flush of flowers and stems, each flower only once. You can get a stick from time to time, here and there, but usually flower in one color. Good luck!
