Four reasons to use a carrier bag with Laminator

In the past almost all laminator would require the use of a carrier bag. However, in recent years more and more manufacturers are advertising that you can use their machines without a carrier. These machines often use silicon or ceramic rollers hot plates heated Teflon and are able to move through documents without a carrier. However, just because these laminators can run documents unaccompanied doesnâ € ™ t mean you shouldnâ € ™ t use a carrier. Here are four reasons why you should always wear a carrier bag with the laminator.

1. When the heat laminating documents roller is activated and a layer of adhesive melts inside the plastic sheet. This adhesive is what makes the bags are attached to documents and provides the lasting effect laminate. When the adhesive melts during the lamination process, it is possible (and probable) a bit of glue absorb the edges of the bag. If you use a carrier bag the adhesive never come into contact with roller mill. However, if you arenâ € ™ t that a carrier of the adhesive used to crush out the rollers of the mill and begin to accumulate. Over time, this accumulation of lamination adhesive can cause all sorts of problems.

2. If you run laminating pouches without a carrier that increase exponentially the chances of getting the bags wrapped around the rollers. The accumulation of adhesive as mentioned in point number one can make a bag to stick to the rollers and curl around the rollers instead of leaving the mill. If you catch the problem quickly is sometimes possible to save the mill. However, many end up rolling in the garbage every year because of this problem. A carrier bag adds extra rigidity to maintain curly bags and helps ensure that even if things start to conclude that the adhesive wonâ € ™ t fuse bag and paper mill rollers.
