Paintball Sniper rifle range
Can a Paintball Gun be used as a sniper rifle?
This sounds like a silly question, I know, but I'd like to get a realistic feel certain of the gun. I'm want to know if a paintball gun shoots the same way as a regular marker (range, accuracy, you know, works). You can also change the barrel to make it longer and more accurate? And the best brand?
The only type of marker of factory built designed to resemble a shotgun is the RAP68: http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGkwOEuMxH8RYBpZRXNyoA; _ylu = X3oDMTE5Y2hicTVqBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDOARjb2xvA3NrMQR2dGlkA1FSVzFfMTE3BGwDV1Mx/SIG 12g92t3qt/EXP = 1204685316 / ** http% 3a / / rap4.com/paintball/news/news_article.php 3fnews_id% = 32 It works like a single projectile pump action marker, so the yield would be the same as say the Tippmann 68, with the only real difference is styled to resemble a more realistic looking gun. Claim maximum range is 300 feet, but the accuracy is probably limited viable to approximately half that distance. No changes to existing barrel this marker its main purpose is to be used by law enforcement for training purposes. Can be used as a sniper rifle? I suppose on the same facility than any other pump marker out there, but there are better options if maximum accuracy of its main objectives. Because of their limited paintball magazine (hopper) of capacity if your hope out to a paintball field you are going to be bad compared weaponry to more conventional markers.
