How I can wire my PC cooling fan to run on a 9 volt battery?

I want my fan to run cable Colling coputers on a 9 volt battery, which has 3 wires (red yellow black) leaving it with a small plastic thing in the end. I am willing to cut the wires or thing I have to do to make this run on a 9 volt battery. If you're curious, this is a soulution fast paintball mask. Thanks for all the help and answers

I suppose you've removed the fan from your computer and are now trying to get is the power of 9 volts. Red and black is likely that the "hot" and yellow wires together. You will not blow up the fan by either black or red and yellow + to – put. Once you figure that out of the two is hot, go Radio Shack and buy a socket connector and soldering the fan wires.
