"I can return my package if I PSP ..?

Okay, so I bought a PSP Combo Pack and a night game in a Walmart on a whim-is, totally not worth it. The lady told me I had 15 days in it, and bought a 2 year warranty with it. I figured 15 days means 15 days return policy. However, when I called the customer service office, which says that since it opened, I could not return it. My question is if you "accidentally" damage, and get a new one either Sony or Walmart, "I can return the new one in the packaging for Walmart and get my money? I have the feeling it will not work, any suggestions?

When you buy a game system, which record the serial number at the time of purchase. So if you tried return a different system, they would know immediately. Just sell to GameStop, rhinos or ebay.
