Is it illegal off-road lights (mounted on the roof) while riding on the road?

I'm thinking some lights on the ground to mount on the roof of my truck. She wondered what laws exist regarding how the lights can be used in public, anyway.

Yes is illegal. These lights that blind people to get the car so it is difficult to see the road. the headlights of a car is precision engineered to project a distribution light, which avoids the angel in the eyes of another driver. Believe it or not the same model of car that is England has done to the headlights than those made for the U.S. because unit on the other side of the road. You can have lights fitted, but not on the road. In some states you may be required to cover them, while not in use.
