Marker Olive

Marker Olive
Should I use disperse dyes or fabric markers?

Since I was a big fan of the Star Trek movie, I bought the new dress red dress and was thinking of dyed blue to match the uniform.Unfortunately science officer, when I took it to Hobby Lobby to get some tips on dyeing I heard that was 100% polyester and the pattern was stamped on and he could not return the dress to the store I bought a full refund. So I've been looking for online to see if I could dye and learned that I could use or maybe markers. But iDye cloth dress cost $ 50 and I'm a little nervous about it with the stamped in the pattern (I've only dyed a red vest olive green last summer) so my question is will the average waiting and does not cover the pattern or should I use fabric markers to color on the red? I am very curious to know what is best for this Halloween.

If using a dye, which will have take into account the rules of color mixing. Remember that mixing paints in primary school? These same rules apply to the dyes. If the dress is now in red and added Blue Dye to it, you get a shade of purple, depending on how the dress is red and blue tone add. If you add yellow dye clothing, could change the red to orange-ish color. I've never removed the dye color remover, so do not now if it works in red. Perhaps turn pink.
