Just bought Tide 2X Ultra and I think am getting ripped off?
Is it just me or do these guys this liquid detergent in a bottle more small and then the market as two times more concentrated when in fact it is not? I think when I used the amount stated on the cover, the water in my machine not even "South" or bubbles. Do you think they are putting the same recipe in a smaller bottle, raising the price and claiming to clean up loads just to get a benefit? I think I will return to the good ole powder material. At least that makes things bubble and can not be condensed. What are your thoughts on this? Best answer gets my vote. FYI, I have no enegy power washer and I can not buy the HE detergent brand. My washing machine is a top manager where water in my tank is full. I promise to save the environment of my water usuage by purchasing an HE washing machine when it becomes bad.
There was consumerist.com something (a blog on consumer issues on this subject a few weeks) … As http://consumerist.com/349756/these-tide-bottles-are-not-at-all-confusing article for more information on the issue of quantity. Not all detergents do a lot of foam in the washer. You need to bring clothes for the results, not the foam. This is not beer. Make sure you are not using too much of these new detergents, or you will lose money, and the tide is not cheap. I suggest starting with a stopper on average, and then see what your results are. Finally, I agree with another poster who said you get better results with detergent powder. I use Tide powder, just because my favorite Ultra Purex Powder w / Renuzit, not available in my area more. Purex Ultra Search powder in your area. Not the regular Purex, but the ultra version. It is as good as the tide of the IMO.
