Paintball Guns – Our first time

We have talked about all the hype. Paintball is becoming an exciting sport, extremely stimulating. It is an extreme sport and sounds intimidating. In fact it is intimidating and this is exactly what this article deals. For those who wonder about the experience and if you should try it, the answer is a it simple! We will share our first experience with you and hopefully, will be very easy decision to join the ranks of a paintball enthusiast.

There are many approaches to initiation. We offer two for you to consider. Obviously, the approach it takes is a personal choice. One of them is definitely more costly and risky, but it really depends if you are obliged to try the sport or not. The second is cheaper and easier, but may be higher in the intimidation factor it does not know anything about the team before playing.

The first approach is to go to their local area and some equipment for rent to start using it. This is not our approach. We had already decided that paintball is a sport that is going to do no matter what. So in our case, my son and I decided to take the plunge and buy the equipment. Purchased I bought an Ion and Tippmann 98 Custom Pro. I decided to upgrade immediately by the addition of a Cyclone Feed hopper and a trigger-mail. What the hell was he doing? I had no idea, but the type of person I am makes that decision easy.

I wanted to know about the score that would be used and I thought it would be nothing better than to install the same updates. It could easily have bought one already upgraded, but I wanted to learn. That's another story do not want to get here. Rest assured that he could do it myself. Again, this was my personal approach that you may or may not want to follow.

The second option of owning the equipment first allowed us to spend adequate time at home familiar with the gun and safe handling. We studied the manuals and procedures loading and unloading.

General gun safety applies. Make sure they are not pointing to anyone, and sunglasses are always used even when it is only manipulate the score. A Gun Barrel is at all times and applied as appropriate, the safety or marker off. We bought some reusable v balls (for some the home backyard fun and learning of our markers fire.)

Finally, the weekend arrived and the anticipation and intimidation were factor peaked. We were late to the field and as they walked in a scene that had many players waiting to start another game. It was raining lightly. We were tempted only to pack and go home because they were not sure what to expect.

The first thing we did was go to its entry to the field operator. He gave us the generality down on what to pay and if we had to rent equipment. The information provided and others that were new and we appreciate their help and guidance. The players were awesome. The field operator told us our markers had to be checked for speed and we did. Is quickly adjusted the markers to make sure we were safe and within the limits the field.

The players decided that the next party would be woodsball. In woodsball, it is basically the name of the sounds – a game in the forest where State coverage and camo. The players were quick to explain the basic safety rules and everything. Always wear goggles! (A tip here is to buy a good mask Double thermal quality. Nebulization problems with his mask and goggles will be removed from the paintball experience.)

Walking toward the field and well away from the field, we were told that from a certain place, we must keep our masks at all times. When we got to camp we split the teams. My son (12) and I were with a team of 4 against 4 that were decorated with markers, nitrogen, distance lines and camo. Well did I mention our intimidation was peaked!

I had never been beaten by a paintball, let alone shoot anyone. They were not army veterans, marksmen, or athletes. We were a father and a son wanting to shoot paintball but now in parts, we were new to go back too far and not enough to stop it. They said some concepts more basic to what the "rules" army meant. The term used to describe the rule that would only be if we hit in the torso or head (non-members). We were told not to remove our mask and give our arms, if delivery or bumped. We were told to leave with their arms raised until off the field. Do not shoot anyone too close and ask them to surrender.

If you run out of ammunition or air, is also out. This would explain why the bully, "" The team had gear belts that held extra paintball "pods" (plastic tubes containing a filling of ball paint for the charger) and a place for an Air Tank or extra air tank.

It is well placed. We separated and both teams had called the referee that we were ready to play. It was the game. Instantly the excitement peaked and we were in the game. My son flanked on the left. We kept together and move forward until we found a bit of cover. All of our "Call of Duty" online experience flashing before our eyes. Do not give away our position, be patient … ah just shoot! One of us hit a player … shot in the head. The two took credit for that one!

We felt cocky now. Shooting and excited. I decided to move to another place. He began to move and then in an instant ouch! I hit in the back and out. I raised my hands over my head and me called out. Moved to the edge of the field and watched from the sidelines. Reflecting how stupid I had been only to move without being more stealth like. Shit now I had to wait until the next game. The earlier "ouch", was not so bad. We felt our wounds but they were very painful. We could describe it as a sunburn sensation almost isolated.

Soon after my son was also beaten and left. Both of us could not wait to go again and like the first dive into a pool – our hearts beating with excitement and joy, we got were!

Carbon Fiber Tank, 4500 psi, 88 cu ft

Carbon Fiber Tank, 4500 psi, 88 cu ft

$839.99

DOT-approved Carbon fiber filament wound over aluminum bladder 88 cu ft 4500 psi max pressure 11.3 lbs dry weight Includes: Hose with 1/8" BSPP threads on both ends Seal washer Hose has an inline gauge (eliminates use of a yoke) Air Venturi female quick-disconnect adapter with 1/8" BSPP male threads on one end This is not a scuba tank. It’s a carbon fiber tank, which is also called an scba tank, and has a high-pressure scba valve…like the one firefighters use on their scba tanks. Many dive shops do not have the ability to fill these tanks. In some towns, the fire department has a compressor that can fill a high-pressure carbon fiber tank, as firefighters use smaller scba tanks for breathing equipment during rescues. You might want to approach your local fire department and ask if they would be willing to fill your high-pressure carbon fiber/scba tank from their compressor. Another alternative is to contact a local paintball store, as paintballers use carbon fiber tanks to fill their markers. If the only alternative you have is to fill your high-pressure carbon fiber scba tank at a dive shop, a 1/8" BSPP male to DIN female adapter (our part # AA-Z2128-300) can temporarily replace the hose on the valve adapter so the dive shop can fill your tank.
