With the growing popularity, many communities Christian church are now offering Karate. While character and discipline are important, more now a third aspect is integrated into the martial arts, the construction of the spiritual life of students. The churches are offering instruction in martial arts that refers to God's instructions in the Bible. The classes emphasize courtesy, integrity, self-control, perseverance and a spirit invincible. These characteristics are essential for the development of Christian life. Each week the students are da theme of the week and a memory verse. An example of what students can receive would be an item on the audacity vs. fear. They are taught to be sure that what to do or say is true and correct and fair in the eyes of God. Acts 4:29 in the Bible be relevant to this subject – "And now we're at it again! These are key features to develop in the Christian life. Self-discipline, picking up after yourself "fall short", ministering to others and strive to live a life that bears fruit are traits can be practiced through the study of martial arts.

The martial arts do not teach violence, but the anger instead of retention, but not more self-control and quiet. Students will develop their bodies through physical effort, challenge, and learn the techniques of punching and striking. Power is God gave us freedom of choice in our actions. The martial arts help us to learn that we have the privilege of power must be controlled and not used recklessly.

Students learn that one must ultimately fail, often the real success is achieved, and that greatness is achieved only through the perseverance. The objective of the class is to develop students who take responsibility for their actions, understand the limits of the rules and show greater self-esteem. Many classes are interspersed with the teachings of the Bible to link the principles of the martial arts character with Christian values.

Tae Kwon Do is Korean Karate. This means that the path of the Hand and Foot (punching and kicking). There are basically four sections for art: Toning, sparring, forms and self defense.

This is a well-rounded exercise program that encompasses muscle toning, stretching and flexibility, increasing strength and aerobic endurance through combat and mental challenges through master patterns or shapes.

Most classes begin with warm-up exercises. These exercises are the calisthenics such as push-ups, sit-ups, jumps, trunk rotations, squat kicks and stretch your legs more. For sure they tighten your abs and strengthen your arms just from performing the warm-up exercises. Before you know it, you'll be doing knuckle push-ups fifty or triangle of the rapid rate of fire and be able to lean against a wall and have someone lift your leg so your toes touch the wall behind the ear. Tae Kwon Do will definitely help you to become or be agile.

Sparring is fighting in a controlled environment. It is not street fighting and all participants wear protective gear: helmet, gloves, shin guards and feet guards, called kicks. Usually you Spar in three rounds a minute. It is basically kick boxing. Then one minute of rest, switching partners, then spar again and repeat. You will get extremely hot and sweaty. Jab, , Upper cut punch, side kick, hit reverse round house, hammer fist, Bob and weave and repeat. It is an excellent aerobic exercise.

Learning forms or patterns can really tax your brain. Many of the forms have 26 + different movements. It's your job to remember them, in order, and learn to competently. In theory, learning forms, it'll become a better fighter. For example, a form that could begin: high block, front kick left punch, high kick right front punch block. Rotate 90 degrees in the center, knife hand left, knife hand right, knife hand left, spear hand. And so on. If you master these, when it comes to Spar, you can implement some of these patterns in his party.

Many people enjoy Tae Kwon Do or any martial art the case because it is an exercise program all inclusive. It's fun, challenging, and is a great way to enter or stay in shape. As with any exercise program, start slowly and consult your doctor. If you have not participated in much physical exercise in a while, the muscles no doubt going to be very sensitive for the early weeks. Do not let intimidated by other students may appear to be in better shape than you are. Everyone started out as a white belt. Just have fun, and move!

Benjamin & Sheridan Repair Kit, Fits Some Pre-1995 Multi-Pump Guns w/Soldered Valve

Benjamin & Sheridan Repair Kit, Fits Some Pre-1995 Multi-Pump Guns w/Soldered Valve

$33.54

Repair kit fits these multi-pump guns made before 1995 (they have a soldered valve): Benjamin 397, 392, 340, 342 & 347 guns as well as Sheridan C9 (Silver Streak) & CB9 (Blue Streak). To determine if this kit is for you: Remove the screw in front of triggerguard to remove rear part of the stock Remove the pins or screws that hold the retention cap at the rear of the receiver Remove the guide pin, spring & hammer to reveal the compression tube If the compression tube appears to be brass & is one piece with a pin protruding from it, you’ll need the other kit (CR/RepairKitC9) instead of this one If your gun has a rounded square hole with a valve stem sticking up through it, then the kit shown on this page will fit your gun. The included valve tool (pictured on this page) is needed to remove the parts from the soldered valve body (directions included with kit). If you need assistance or would like Pyramyd Air’s techs to do the installation, contact our technicians at 888-262-4867, ext. 244 This kit includes parts that are still available from Crosman and may require slight modification. If your gun is very old and has been treated with any petroleum distillates and/or solvents that damage rubber seals, the removal of the old parts can be challenging. The obsolete gasket that seals the valve guide to the compression tube can normally be reused. If you used petroleum products, it may be irreparably damaged and will need to be replaced by a thin o-ring. If you would like Pyramyd Air’s tech department to install this kit in your Sheridan or Benjamin rifle, please contact them at 888-262-4867, ext. 5. There will be an additional cost for the installation service, plus shipping both ways…BUT it’ll be done perfectly!
