It is the Smart Parts Ion xe good for woodsball?

Everyone says that the A-5 or any other Tippmann is ideal for woodsball but what if I do, I want a Tippmann? Ion xe Will still be okay?

I use my ion for both woodsball and speedball. It works fine, but be careful not to get wet and gunk up. That's why Tippmanns is recommended because it can take more of a beating of an ion.
