What string would work best for me?
Based on my game, what string arrangements (composition, gauge, and the tension) that you recommend for me? I am a defensive player reference, relying much more in control of power. I shot relatively flat on both sides, although I'm trying to work on that, and I have a topspin racquet in the Babolat friendly Aeropro drive Cortex. As a counterpunch, rarely break strings when I play. To date I have not had problems with a sore arm, but I'm very cautious about this issue, and the knees can not suggest that more durable joints. Currently I'm using Wilson NXT 16 (multifilament) to 58 pounds. This arrangement is not bad, but I'm willing to experiment (hybrid strings? 17 caliber? Etc.) What do you recommend?
If you are not a string breaker, I would try going to measure the 17 so you have more feel and spin. I try to K-intestinal (17) in the network, and a cop at intersections (Luxilon Big Banger, or Signum Poly Plasma is what I use). If you can afford it, try natural gut mains, but most people avoid for fear the costs and the possibility that they would like too. Go with the same tension on the net (58-60 for K-gut/NXT/natural intestine), but the voltage drop on polyethylene 10 per cent to 52-54 pounds in the crosses. The cop with a spin extra, especially if you use the Luxilon Rough. To find the strings for you (and tension right), you'll have to experiment a little.
