Most Popular Hybrids Flock Hot Spots

Before, politicians and some automakers say a car that can reduce gas of greenhouse gases and free America from its dependence on foreign oil is years or even decades away. Today, a 90-degree turn is evident. In fact, a number of cars like that and could be seen parked in a garage these days.

Los Angeles and other cities of the East Coast and other trouble spots around the world are now boasting of the best hybrids. According to RL Polk and Company, "Hybrid vehicle sales catapulted to more than 139 percent from 2004 to 2005, after increasing 81 percent from 2003 to 2004. "These hybrids are still only just over one percent of new-vehicle market.

RL Polk reported that California represents more than 26 percent of all new hybrid registrations in the Los Angeles area alone has 11.5 percent in 2005 records. But the phenomenon is not just hybrids for the West Coast. Boston, New York and Washington DC are also hybrid hot spots.

For this year, the best hybrids include the new Ford Escape, the Lexus LS 600h L, Saturn Aura Green Line, Saturn Vue Green Line hybrid and the Chevrolet Tahoe / GMC Yukon Hybrid. The Ford Escape has a higher hood and beltline for a more resistant. The interior of the hybrid is made of post-industrial, recycled materials and a set of airbags.
