Help me with matching fabric with a suit please?

I would love to buy a $ 300.00 Jet Black skirt game for Christmas this years, but not just in the budget. I have a good short black wool skirt that you could use, but I can only link a wool coat on top? Could get away with some sort of dog-tooth pattern that may look like wool? Definitely not polyester, right? Just wondering a few options under cost to build a great look for the holidays! Thanks!

Why not take the skirt with you when shopping for a new jacket / coat? That so you can match the color and fabric as close as possible. I wouldnt get a printed jacket. It will look weird. Try to find a shade close to black wool as games and look like a complete outfit. If you do not mind buying used clothes, try going to a thrift store. Surey I find many wool coats at reasonable prices. Good luck!
