What are the pros and cons of a Tippmann A-5 Paintball Marker?
What is good and bad about the gun? Im thinking of buying one, is the right hopper in front of your face or is on the side? Can you buy a charger hopper at an angle to it? Is it accurate? What is the BPS?
In short: Pros – higher output accuracy of the box easily modified to be highly competitive to recreational, woodsball fields of food and cyclone interior means you do not need an Electronic Hopper for easy maintenance recreational game, no tools required. Cons – Modification maximum are not yet competitive tournament play speedball Offset feed cyclone creates a higher profile (a Halo Hopper hopper or other stylish cut your profile) You can get an A-5 with Response Trigger on any Ebay or Craigslist for around $ 125.00-$ 150.00. If you want the activation email, you are looking at around $ 200.00-$ 250.00. The cyclone Feed System is rated at up to 20bps. The trigger of the response is considered semi-automatic but if you find that sweet spot that can hold the trigger about half and get a Full Auto effect. The E-Trigger means you have to keep the batteries in the hand … The trigger is all mechanical. If you look online you will find thousands of settings for Tippmann A-5. I bought my A-5 R / T on Ebay for $ 135, a 1 piece 21 "Barrel for $ 25 on Ebay and Folding Stock for $ 10 off of Craigslist. I have listed many resources for below. Hope this helps.
