remote control turret?

I'm trying to create a remote control turret that could mount a Paintball Gun or potatoes. My main idea is to get an old but powerful old r / C car to turn the gun from left to right and one for vertical movement (possibly changing electrical panels in a command. I have no specific data on the basis of holding the gun, but a ring rotating basis to work well for horizontal motions. The vertical movement is what I am really stuck. Even if the perfect balance of change of angle, when his will actively establish and create a lot of inertia. I was wondering if anyone had any idea or an improvement in mine?

I'm definitely not going to help with this. What do you use it for, anyway?
