I choose a gun, knife or pepper spray?

FIREARMS

I own a registered weapon and has a 1911 45 ACP. I believe in the right to bear arms and I think weapons should be for defense purposes. DO NOT advocate using a firearm unless you have another option. Only be used as last resort. ADVANTAGES

• Most attackers back off at the sight of a gun.

• Weapons Fire is very reliable in terms of training and skill of its user

• Weapons are generally effective in stopping power.

DISADVANTAGES USE OF A FIREARM

• serious consequences for the user

• The weapons require more money, time and effort to maintain compared with other defense devices

• An accidental discharge can, and often results in permanent injury or death.

• States have strict gun laws, and you can become a quick penalty by not adhering to the laws.

• The use of a firearm is considered "force Excessive "means that you may have to prove in court that you did not intentionally kill someone." Many experts agree that when the citizens themselves arms with a firearm is a tragic situation and the subsequent judicial process to happen. "

• If the attacker gets his gun from you, the consequences can be deadly.

Scenario # 1

You're sitting in your car to eat a small snack, getting ready to roll up the window and go home. You see a man rapidly approaching his driver's side window. You panic, grabs her purse for her little pistol while his hands begin to tremble. You as touching things get deeper, feeling the gun, pull it out as it is drawing the pistol from a man grabs her bag and starts with you. Fortunately, you have the weapon, but in a panic start shooting several rounds at his attacker.
[Several months later ...]

You now in the field trying to show the world that he had no choice but to kill the boy of 19 who was looking for a quick cash so he could eat. You are in the court trying to explain to his family and the media was attacking, but his story does not add up because coroner determines that you shot his victim after they stole his wallet and was trying to escape. You now are the criminals and that is life will be changed forever.

This was a stage compound but very close to what often occurs in situations involving a weapon of defense.

Scenario # 2

You're sitting in your car when a man is approaching quickly and grabs the arm and ordered him out of his car. With his other arm, you take pepper spray to remain there in the center console download all in the eye. Within one or two seconds, the man is crying on the floor and called the police, which capture the perpetrators. You are terrified, but okay. And the courts to put your attacker to which it belongs.

My final advice is that if you get a firearm familiar with it. Learn laws and abide by them. Get a good workout and treat your gun with great responsibility.

PEPPER SPRAY.

sprays Pepper is the defense device of my choice. OC Pepper Spray is effective against people who are on drugs, psychotic, or can not feel pain. The reason is due to how the chemical OC (Oleo Resin Capsicum) works. Not an irritant, but rather, an inflammatory agent. The OC dilates the capillaries of the eye and causes blindness temporary and difficult to breathe.

ADVANTAGES OF A PEPPER SPRAY

• Pepper spray can usually shoot a attacker who is 12-20 feet away. That is a sufficient distance to allow time to get your pepper spray out, aim, and shoot.

• In addition, pepper spray hold very little consequence if discharged accidentally, rather than a weapon.

• The life of a pepper spray is usually 2-5 years. You may wonder why that would be advantageous, and the reason is clear: take the guess work if the content of the aerosol are potentially optimal.

• Ease of use, pending, aim, fire!

• Highly effective against attackers, giving at least 20 minutes to flee

• There are many types of pepper spray for you to choose from. There Baton Pepper spray, pepper spray ring, keychain pepper spray and a pistol of all new Cayenne

• 4 types of aerosols are the current, cone-shaped mist, fog, and new gel formulations. It really depends on you prefer, there is nobody better than the other.

• non-lethal to your attacker and not permanently disable them.

• pepper sprays can be bought for as little as $ 15

Knives, KUBOTANS, nunchakus, and on the other side had weapons.

With a knife in self defense can be effective, but not recommended because it may have to prove in court that he had absolutely no choice but to use it. As a Kubotan, a knife can be illegal in your area. Some knives are considered projectiles, hence the reason they called their throwing knives. But it also carries many disadvantages. Unless be an expert knife thrower, do not use for defense purposes.

Most knives are not made to be thrown. The other disadvantage of the use of knives in self-defense is that require ranged combat knives to use against her attacker. If you can not master it, you can use the knife against him. I would recommend that you carries a knife utility purposes, but we advise not to use it for defense unless it has been well trained, and it is their last resort.

The same goes for kubotans, clubs and nunchakus. All of them require lots of training and to make matters worse, most likely illegal to use as a defense in your area.

The best advice I can give you.

Perhaps the hands and feet are all you need if you are being assaulted or attacked. As they say in martial arts hammers his hands, his feet become spears, and fingers, knives. Yes, your body and your mind is the best defense we have.

But I recommend you find an instructor qualified to teach you how to use his body for defense. If you can not find the time to get this kind of instruction there are the fighting instructional videos so you can learn some basic skills and street comfort of your own home.
