Twist grip conversion to switch gears.?

Hello. The current cheapo gear mountain bike my friend are a nightmare – the variety fist, which is very vague, it will take about an hour to clunk up, and rarely stays on the right for more than ten seconds. It is about giving the poor a lot of pain. Never had a problem with firing levers (such as Shimano Rapidfire) and I think would be a good idea to convert the front and rear derailleur to the variety shooting. What I would like to know is how difficult it would be. What parts that we have to change? Need to change speeds or just change purchase a case of trigger factors and subject to the cuff? If the levers including the problem? Could anything be updated to improve things? That is a lot of questions so you can to point me to a web page on the subject. Thank you very much! If your bike has components cheapo cheapo friends, for example, Falcon or DSP or Shimano Series may be out of luck, since they really are not made to be interchangeable with anything. If the transmission is SRAM or Shimano Altus or better (or will say Altus and Alivio Acera or whatever in it, not just "Shimano"), then you have a chance. Check the number of gears in the rear. Are you able to find levers Shooting for the particular installation must be able to exchange. Make sure the shifter is the same brand as the rear derailleur. In fact, the problem seems more to me like a poorly designed bike. If I were your friend, I expect you to tell me to find a better bike. Are abundant in the condition (see online or in the newspaper), or by a rigid half-way decent (no rear suspension) are available for under $ 400 … maybe even less than $ 300 on sale. That made me think otherwise. If the bike is full suspension could be that the rear pins are shot. If this be the case, throw the bike and start again.
