Remember sea monkeys? The cute pink little people with tails in their photographs of the towns water and jumping through hoops … It turned out they were brine shrimp. X-Ray glasses this image of a bewildered child looking at his hand that has been developed as a bone of truth? Only repulsive plastic lenses that made you see double … or worse, more often than not only the lens paper with a swirly graphic on them and a small hole in the middle!
