What is the name of an ancient art and craft in which color beeds melt in a glass similar framework?

I used to do these things in the eighties and was wondering if they still exist. The team usually come with a frame (which I found has a butterfly) and different sets of color beeds. The end result looks something like a plastic version of windows.

The craft kits were called "sun catchers." They were small soft metal frames that blends tiny drops of translucent plastic (in the oven) and did little fake stained glass windows.
