Methods of prevention of knee injuries while skiing

Knee injuries in skiing are more common than you think. Whether the ligaments, menisci or bony structures that hurts your particular situation depends on the specific injury incurred. However, the fact is that 25% of all alpine ski injuries are knee injuries. True, not everyone has knee problems, but when it does you may have some useful information included here. Tips to prevent knee pain are provided as well as the benefits of using kneepads to promote stability.

When you are snowboarding or skiing, it is likely that the torsional forces that may occur in the knee joints. As you know the feet are blocked (more or less) in the ski or snowboard, but still needs to adapt to the snowy ground as you go over bumps in the mountainside. 3.) Land not in their hands (if you can help it) Keep your arms up and forward. This is more of a general point of safety.

4.) Do not go unless you know where and how the earth. Sounds simple enough, right? It is best to land on both skis and keep your knees bent.
