Feedneck Ion

What kind of work on my xe Feedneck Ion?

I recently bought a ion xe, and action is absolutely horrible. I want a new, preferably a Clamping Feedneck as blocking a q, but do not know what kind to get. The boy from the local golf shop said I need a Feed Neck surprise for him. Is this true?

The ion is the same wire as the Shocker Nxt. Meaning of feednecks fit and so will the barrels.
