Why is it so difficult to sell a used car good enough?

My family has a Nissan Sentra 2004 1.8s. He has not been driven that much (20,000 miles just hit this week) and were trying to sell it. The car is in amazing almost new condition. silver paint, cloth interior. No scratches, Always wash and parked. Oil changed every 3k Kelly Blue Book is at 11,600 sets. They asked for 10,000. I put in on craigslist every few days, we drive and around the park with a FOR SALE sign in the window, we have had in the paper. Now we were really pushing to sell in the last 3 months. Why is it so hard sell? We get calls, but no follow through. We do not want that trade, because we put on the 8000 for it. But I'm beginning to think I'll never sell! Any ideas or comments?
