Help with Mira electric shower

I have a Mira Elite 2 electric shower just over 2 years old. It was decided that only wants to deliver water cold. Turning on the temperature dial makes no difference. Can anyone tell me if the switch is packing heat? Who installed using sealant around the edge of the unit for bathroom tiles what is water and air tight. I have since learned that this should not have done. Could have caused failure? Thank you very much

Cannot tell u what has gone wrong, but I would call a repair Geezer. I have bags and electric shower has been fixed with easily and cheaply by the repair person. Unfortunately, your wear and tear. But I wouldnt mess with the electricity!
