Knee or Elbow Pads comfortable to ride cross country?

Does anyone recommend any knee or elbow pads for cross-country ride that is comfortable to wear? Each time iv iv fallen off a bike landed on my knees when I fell off the bike if I did not have armored knee and my knee pants resembled a little unpleasant.

Check for the 661 guards Plant. They are usually $ 20 to $ 30 per couple (elbow or knee, and have a shin guard, too.) They are double-thick neoprene layer, and surprisingly not too hot to wear. It protects you from most things pretty well, but if you have a pile of rocks, cornerstones particularly acute, you'd better hardcap protection. I have some 661 Kyle Strait knee pads I use to go and urban areas, and it is horrible for skiing background, but definitely not as comfortable as vegetables.
