How Paintballs Are Made

Ever wondered how the shells, thin but strong made containing paint and can be fired of a weapon to splash all over your opponent? The process for making paintballs is pretty interesting, and you may be surprised by what is used in its manufacture.

Paintballs are made of a thin layer of gel that breaks on contact. They are filled with non-toxic, water soluble ingredients that are dye-stained. The paint is biodegradable and leave the clothes or out of human skin with just water. When the paintball hits symbols of a person to whom the color indicates who have been affected.

Paintballs are made on special machines that are not available to the public as the process is too complicated and Machinery are extremely expensive. The following process is rather long and complicated that only manufacturers can make paintballs.

To make the empty shell paintball, the gelatin melts and other additives are introduced while the color is added and mixed in. This mixture is run through a machine encapsulation, the same type of machine that pharmaceutical companies do use gel caps. The machine forces the gelatin in a cooling drum which produces a thin sheet called gel tape. Two tapes of each pass on their own rotation to die, or mold, which forms each half of the ball. The dice are pressed together as they rotate and align with the time stamp of enforcing a round ball, and placing the two half shells together. Once that happens, the tanks are filled with paint is injected in them. Generally, you can see a seam on each paintball. This is where death is met. Paintball is sealed and out of the matrix was removed from the machine. The shells are very soft and breaks at this time. The balls are on a conveyor and then placed on trays to dry. During the drying period is reduced by about painting gelatin that makes them less soft and bouncy.

The painting that goes into the two deposits are made by combining polyethylene glycol, which also found in cough syrup, thickened with wax.

Two dual-tone or color paintballs are made in the same way, except that there are two colors gel entering instead of one. One side will be one color and one will be next.

After the balls have dried paint pass through a counting machine and bags and containers carton you buy.

The quality of the Paint Ball depends on the quality of the ingredients used to make them. Some companies make balls paint of excellent quality are very expensive, up to $ 100 by 2000 round. These should be left to those who play in tournaments, since it could be harmful the game to have a break defective within the Paintball Gun barrel. Other paintballs can cost about $ 50 to $ 60 per case 2000 turns and could still be too expensive to practice. Practice balls can be purchased on a count of 500 for about $ 16. That is a bit more affordable, but will not be the same quality of which pay more. Find the paintball that is right for you by trying different varieties.

Carbon Fiber Tank, 4500 psi, 88 cu ft

Carbon Fiber Tank, 4500 psi, 88 cu ft

$839.99

DOT-approved Carbon fiber filament wound over aluminum bladder 88 cu ft 4500 psi max pressure 11.3 lbs dry weight Includes: Hose with 1/8" BSPP threads on both ends Seal washer Hose has an inline gauge (eliminates use of a yoke) Air Venturi female quick-disconnect adapter with 1/8" BSPP male threads on one end This is not a scuba tank. It’s a carbon fiber tank, which is also called an scba tank, and has a high-pressure scba valve…like the one firefighters use on their scba tanks. Many dive shops do not have the ability to fill these tanks. In some towns, the fire department has a compressor that can fill a high-pressure carbon fiber tank, as firefighters use smaller scba tanks for breathing equipment during rescues. You might want to approach your local fire department and ask if they would be willing to fill your high-pressure carbon fiber/scba tank from their compressor. Another alternative is to contact a local paintball store, as paintballers use carbon fiber tanks to fill their markers. If the only alternative you have is to fill your high-pressure carbon fiber scba tank at a dive shop, a 1/8" BSPP male to DIN female adapter (our part # AA-Z2128-300) can temporarily replace the hose on the valve adapter so the dive shop can fill your tank.
