How does a person get their child if the child places in DYFS foster care?

My friend had her daughter out of school Monday and placed in a foster home.And has called every tom dick and Harry in the city attorney and no one will touch the case.I difficult to believe that a lawyer would not touch this case.he had to go to court today with a pubic defender, better then anyone I could guess.But anyone out there shine alittle light on where to get a lawyer here in New Jersey
