Should I get the Smart Parts Ion or Proto Slg 09 base?

I am a beginner in the paintball trying to get into the sport and am looking for a weapon. I want to know if I should get a Smart Parts ion or base 09 Proto SLG. I do not want to spend much money, but I do not want to buy another gun soon. I also get to know what hopper and Hpa Tank would be cheaper. I also wonder if I should get some pants and shorts skimmer or should I wait until they get better. I also wanted to know what would be really good mask. Thank you.
