Where to buy good paintball clothing for cheap prices and the difference between the model year?

Hello I am looking to buy a Paintball Jersey pants and helmet when I go to paintballs. I am looking for the proto 07 and 08, but I'm not sure if there is any real difference between the two dates that is not released. I'd rather get the cheaper model, but I will not lose anything important as the protection of Crouch. I am also unsure of what type of helmet to get and where to buy all of this equipment. I saw that paintball script, but is quite expensive compared to Amazon but I prefer to buy in a store. Any ideas for the type of clothing and retail locations that would be much appreciated Thank you in advance

Not much difference between the Proto 07 & 08, apart from looks. They began as filler in the crotch of 05 or so, which is the year of my pants Proto. Jerseys are basically the same. Some have added small details like the filling of the elbow (which is always too thin to be any use) or thumbholes (helps keep the sleeves in place if the slides). But I really need a sweater unless you are in a team playing in tournaments. Most people are fine with a plain long sleeved shirt. Some masks most popular (usually not called helmets) are JT Flex (7, Flex 8, Proflex), Dye IR3, the rule of E-Vents or avatars or VForce Profilers or grills. Some (or most) of those who are a bit expensive, cheaper than the Avatars, Flex 7 and in profile, but a mask is really the most important paintball equipment you'll use so do not be afraid to spend a little more for good.
