Use only lead pellets and guns that have a max muzzle velocity of 1,000 fps or less. Place this target AT LEAST 20 yds from the muzzle of your gun to avoid ricochets. The white balls deliver significant bounceback if the pellet hits one of them instead of the flange on the side of the frame. Anyone in the area of this target (even if they’re not the one shooting) should wear safety glasses and be aware that pellets may bounce back at them. Remove all animals/pets from the entire shooting area! Remember to wear safety glasses and hearing protection. Ricochet’s are possible, even with lead pellets. Do not use BBs or lead-free pellets, as they increase the chances of ricochets from any part of the frame or the white balls. Shoot the flange on the side and a ball drops to the next level.
